Gwen Stefani shared her heartfelt reflections on the serendipitous entrance of Blake Shelton into her life.

For her, the connection they share feels like an extraordinary manifestation of fate.

At the beginning of their relationship, the "Hollaback Girl" singer reflected on the unlikely bond between the two of them, who were both dealing with their struggles during that time.

Gwen's Surprising Revelation

"It was just really like, two broken people that just started just leaning on each other," she mused, during a recent podcast appearance on "The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show."

Despite their contrasting backgrounds, the No Doubt front woman acknowledged the surprising connection they shared.

"I mean, we are the most unexpected people to be friends, but we had so much in common," she confessed.

It was during that moment that they realized numerous shared traits brought them together "in a bad way," but as time passed, they discovered that their connection went far beyond just their shared sorrow.

"He became my best friend. And here we are, almost 10 years later, right? Well, Apollo's gonna be 10, so maybe 9 years," Gwen disclosed her decision to become a judge on "The Voice."

That exciting new chapter in her life followed closely after the birth of her third child with her former husband, Gavin Rossdale, in May of the same year.

Where It All Started

Reflecting on the pivotal moment that changed her life forever, Gwen Stefani recounted the fateful invitation she received nearly ten years ago.

The recollection unfolded in her cozy home, surrounded by loved ones.

"I get a call, everyone's over at my house, and I'm sitting there with my lawyer, my parents, and my niece was there seeing the baby."

Gwen shared, "She's like, Christina Aguilera's pregnant, do you want to do 'The Voice?' And I was like, I never really watched the show. Like, my parents watched it . . . my sister, . . .when was I gonna watch that? You know what I mean? I'm busy. So, I was like, OK. Everyone's like, 'do it, do it.'"

"And I was like, OK. So, that was the start of the new - that was the second miracle."

The "Don't Speak" singer went on to say, "The first miracle was getting pregnant. The second was 'The Voice.' And then the third was meeting Blake."

In November 2015, Gwen Stefani found love in the arms of Blake Shelton. Their encounter took place over a year after her debut on the popular NBC show.
