Alas, the time has come! Normani has finally announced the arrival of her upcoming new album, "Dopamine."
The arrival of the new album came after she wiped her Instagram account, and was rumored to run her own Stan account on Twitter/X.

However, many were dismayed when her label seemed to have prolonged the wait for the arrival of her debut album. She only released loose singles, hopped on a few collaborations, and even edged fans of her upcoming album.
Normani uploaded the album title and album art where she was riding a black rocket while wearing chained lingerie on a white background.
"Cryingg typing this rn. DOPAMINE THE ALBUM," she wrote in the caption on Instagram.
However, "Dopamine's" release date was not announced, but it could be expected that it would be released within this year.
She also posted a snippet of her new song, which could potentially be added on the same album, on TikTok.
"FINALLY! fingers crossed the wait was worth it. the real question is if Motivation and Wild Side are gonna be included on the track list lmao," a fan said on Reddit.
"You know, this actually might be a great time for it too. There's been a lot of nostalgia for Fifth Harmony online as of late, so I'm sure there'll at least be some new ears checking for her," another commented.

Normani's "Dopamine" announcement came days after she wiped her Instagram account of its posts - It's been a social media tactic of artists to wipe theirs to signal the arrival of a new era.
However, when it was posted on Twitter by a Stan Account, many speculated that it was run by Normani herself because the professional features of the account were being shown, which can only be accessible by the account owner.
Meaning, she must have taken the screenshot of her Instagram page, and probably leaked it online.
