Are you a fan of New Kids on the Block back in the day? The boy band has great news as they are set to release their first album in 10 years and will also go on tour this 2024! Check out all the details below.

According to Billboard, the group, which began in 1984, is entering a brand new era as they struck a deal with their new home, BMG.

Through their agreement, the band will be releasing their eighth studio album as well as a "big" tour.

In a statement shared to the press, the group said they are excited to partner with their new label, BMG, and they promis their supporters that 2024 is going to be a big year.

"New label, big tour, we are just getting started! Much more to come. Very soon. And we couldn't have asked for a better partner than BMG to usher in this new era," they added.

New Kids on the Block Updates

The recent news comes after the band announced back in October 2023 that they will tour across the United States along with their supporting acts Paula Abdul and D.J. Jazzy Jeff.

The group is set to kick off their series of concerts in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, on June 14, 2024, before visiting major cities such as Mountain View, Maryland Heights, Salt Lake City, Virginia Beach, Columbus, Saratoga Springs, and more.

Their last scheduled show will be in Noblesville, IN, on August 25, 2024.

NKOTB remained busy these past few months as they also dropped the 15th anniversary edition of their reunion album "The Block" and re-released it as "The Block Revisited" with many collaborators.

As of this writing, the band has yet to share more details about their new album, but when it drops, it will be the follow-up to their 2013 record titled "10" which was a massive success as it peaked at number six on the Billboard 200.

New Kids on the Block History

New Kids on the Block has been massive around the world ever since they formed back in the 1980s, original lineup includes Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Jamie Kelly, and Mark Whalberg, with the latter two being inactive in recent years.

The group hailed from Dorchester, Massachusetts and they have sold a whopping 80 million records worldwide.
