Kodak Black, a rapper who hails from South Florida, has finally been released from jail earlier this week. To celebrate his special day, the hip-hop artist decided to throw rocks at a photojournalist.

According to the Associated Press, U.S. District Judge Jose E. Martinez handed down the sentence to the rapper almost two weeks after his drug possession charge was dismissed in Broward County.

It was ruled earlier this February by Broward County Circuit Judge Barbara Duffy that prosecutors couldn't refute or negate that the musician had an oxycodone prescription filled by a pharmacy.

The rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was arrested by Plantation police in December after he was discovered sleeping at the wheel with white substance around his mouth.

Initially, authorities confirmed that the powder tested positive for cocaine, but it was later determined to be oxycodone, in which he was prescribed to back in 2022.

Kodak Black Throws Rocks at a Reporter After Getting Released

According to Local10, the musician was released from the Broward County jail in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Upon getting out, he immediately got aggressive after a reporter attempted to interact with him.

The outlet noted that the artist threatened to punch a reporter named Rosh Lowe. He also threw rocks at Photojournalist Bryan Murphy.

Murphy was reportedly hit in the rips, but he wasn't injured. However, he filed a police report with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

As of this writing, Kodak Black has yet to publicly comment on the matter.

Who is Kodak Black?

The outlet noted that Kodak Black didn't grow up with a wealthy family as he, along with his migrant single mother Marcelene Octave, used to reside in Golden Acres, a public housing project.

The musician co-parents with different women. He has a son named King Khalid as well as two daughters named Izzy and Queen Yur. He is also expecting a new baby with a pregnant woman.

He became popular in 2014 after his song "No Flockin" made rounds in the music industry. He also dropped a song in 2022 titled "Super Gremlin" which became famous in 2022.

Regarding his music career, the last time the rapper released a project was on "Jeezu," a song for the movie "The Book of Clarence."

The last time he dropped an album was in November with his LP "When I Was Dead."
