Kodak Black was reportedly arrested in Florida after authorities found him in possession of an illegal substance; check out more details below.

According to Uproxx, the musician had been arrested for possession of cocaine in Florida, the state where he lives.

Records from the Broward County Sherriff's Office had been released by XXL on social media where his arrest status and charges were detailed.

As of this writing, the bond of his case has not been set yet and charges against him will still undergo trial and it's unclear when would it be.

Following his arrest, the rapper was reportedly put behind bars and it's also unclear when he'll get the chance to come out.

Kodak Black History of Legal Troubles

According to Miami New Times, the musician was first arrested at the age of 18. In 2015, he reportedly had a run in with the law and was taken into custody for assault, kidnapping, robbery, false imprisonment, driving with a suspended license, and possession of marijuana. He was later released on bond.

The following year in February, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a young woman in South Carolina. The victim came with him to his hotel room after he had a concert at a venue.

Upon entering the room, the hip-hop star then ripped off her clothes and assaulted her. He was charged with criminal sexual misconduct.

A few months after that, he was arrested for weapons possession as several firearms were found from his car.

It all started when he was allegedly seen buying marijuana from a drug dealer then the police d ecided to pull him over then they found several firearms.

Other arrest includes violating his house arrest and assaulting a bartender in February 2017, accused of grabbing his anger management counselor in April 2017, child neglect in January 2018, and many more.

His latest arrest was in February 2023 as he reportedly violated his bail terms. At the time, he failed to show up to a drug test, he later tested positive for fentanyl.

The recent arrest comes a month after he released his new album "When I Was Dead" which featured over 18 new songs.

The project was dropped via Vulture Love and Capitol Records. Some of the featuring artists included in the record were WizDaWizard, Wam SpinThaBan, and OG Bobby Billions. (via Side Stage Magazine)
