Jonathan Cain is not celebrating his birthday like other people do, he is keeping it lowkey, and he is celebrating it by doing what he loves to do best: performing.

Despite being in several bands in his music career, Cain is best known as the keyboardist and rhythm guitarist for the chart-topping band, Journey.

They have not been on good terms with each other for quite some time now, though, and their feud even reached its peak when it escalated into a legal battle between Cain and Neal Schon, the lead guitarist and co-founder of the band.

However, according to recent reports, there might be some improvement among Journey's members, and a reunion might be on the horizon.

Journey Reunion Happening

According to reports, drummer Deen Castronovo gave insight into the band's complicated dynamic regarding the feud between Cain and Schon.

"Everybody has mended fences. They've made amends and we're all on one jet again and it's all for one and one for all," he said. "Neal and Jon and Arnel got the reins of this thing and Todd and I and Jason are just taking their lead."

The other members of Journey include frontman Arnel Pineda and bassist Todd Jensen, as well as former member Steve Perry.

Schon and Cain had beef over access to the company credit card as well as the keyboardist's decision to play "Don't Stop Believing" at a rally for former President Donald Trump.

"To have that, everything mended and Jon and Neal hugging again - which, dude, those guys are my brothers from Bad English. They're like family to me," Castronovo continued.

"It was like watching two brothers of mine going at it and I wanted to be the mediary going, 'I love you both. Would you just stop?'"

Journey Celebrating 50th Anniversary

For their 50th anniversary, Journey decided to go on tour across North America.

The band was formed in 1973, but they went on a hiatus in 1987 after wrapping up their "Raise on Radio" tour.

In 1995, Perry decided to reunite the band together and fired their old manager, Herbie Herbert, and replaced him with Irving Azoff.

Journey released several chart-topping singles including "Don't Stop Believing" and "Open Arms."

As of this writing, Schon is the remaining original member of the band that was formed over 50 years ago.
