Madonna does it again.

Madonna Spits on a Fan

The incident sparked social media outrage. But is it surprising?

At 65, Madonna is still a global music icon, but her behavior of late has been rubbing fans the wrong way, and by spitting on a fan at her concert - the frustration has reached an all-time high.

The American singer, known as the 'queen of pop,' is on 'The Celebration World Tour,' performing her dazzling shows worldwide.

There's no doubt that the artist remains a stage whirlwind.

Every Madonna concert is a city event.

Her newest appearance has sparked criticism over a notable occasion. Madonna drank a drink mid-performance and spat it at the audience. The odd scene went viral immediately.

One social media user said, "If she spits on me or throws beer at me, I jump the fence." Many criticized the artist's "horrible" and "classless" attitude.

Another said, "I see artists losing respect for the public."

"How disgusting that people who are so deified think they can do whatever they want to their fans," said one. Madonna has other recent incidents.

Icon Suffers Injuries After Falling

On Tuesday, February 27, the singer performs her second tour concert in San Francisco. Madonna fell badly in Seattle last week.

A blow when one of her dancers stumbled and knocked down the musician's chair while singing. Madonna was lucky that her wounds were minor and caused more shame than bodily pain.

TikTok videos from the Queen of Pop's Sunday gig at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle show a dancer losing control and forcing the singer to collapse.

Performing "Open Your Heart," the 65-year-old climbs a chair and is pulled across the stage by a rushing dancer. This time, the dancers slipped in their heels, lost the singer's chair, and fell with Madonna. Sadly, the show must go on. After laughing on the ground, Madonna continued the act with additional chair choreography. In her Legacy Celebration tour, Madonna walks through her repertoire.

"Madonna has traversed so many musical styles, birthed so many trends whether via fashion, song or attitude, and shattered more glass ceilings that nothing short of a six-hour show coupled with a documentary would fully illuminate the archives of her career," USA TODAY's Melissa Ruggieri wrote after attending the show in December.

"The Celebration Tour is an effective commemoration of a woman who has fulfilled every accomplishment yet still possesses a scrappy drive."
