Dierks Bentley has been in the country music industry for a long time, and fans often applaud him for his actions towards younger musicians as he loves helping them grapple through their careers. One of the people he assisted in the past was Taylor Swift, who later became the biggest pop star in the world.

The country singer recently dropped by Taste of Country Nights, where he shared a heartwarming story about the singer when she was younger.

"You know, I've known Taylor a long time... I think I met her, she was 12 or 13 and just moved to town," he recalled.

He then remembered a story from when he had just finished a tour and was chilling at his home on a Sunday night.

Given that he was exhausted from the tour, he wanted to rest, but his family wanted to watch Taylor Swift perform live as his daughters love the pop star.

He checked when the singer's next show would be, and it showed that she would have a concert in Nashville at the time, but he didn't want to go there as he knew it would be too crowded.

However, he saw that she would perform in Kansas City, but his family was too tired from touring.

"I thought maybe we should check in with her manager. So I texted Tree and two minutes later, I get a text back from Tree saying, 'Yeah, Taylor wants you to come, and she wants to sing a song with you,'" he said.

Taylor Swift Updates

Taylor Swift already arrived in Singapore for her six sold-out concerts in the country. Singapore is Swift's only venue in Southeast Asia.

CNA Lifestyle reported that the musician traveled from Sydney, Australia, using her private jet, a Bombardier Global 6000.

Umbrellas shielded her upon stepping down from the plane to give her privacy.

Her shows at the Singapore National Stadium will be on March 2, 3, 4, 7, and 9.
