Hip-hop producer Mally Mall might just be one of the smartest guys in the business. After what seems to be a new rash of shootings in the hip-hop community he has decided not to take any chances when it comes to the possibility of being a drive-by casualty. Instead Mall took his Maybach to Richy Rich at West Coast Customs to have his whip turned into something similar to the Pope-mobile. Mall's current ride is now bullet and bomb proof!

According to Mall his Maybach's frame is layered with steel plates and the windows—well they have double-pane glass but get this, they also have holes built in to return fire should Mall find himself under siege. Up until now Mall seemed to be more inclined to break up fights and to function as more of a peacemaker. TMZ reported awhile ago that it was actually Mall who helped to smooth out the mess between Drake and Chris Brown but at this point he realizes you don't have to be directly involved to be even an accidental target (just ask Suge Knight).

Aside from bulletproofing his ride and trying to steer clear of at least some trouble Mally will also be starring on VH1's Love & Hip Hop Hollywood which premieres on Sept. 15. This show will turn the successful franchise into a trifecta as it joins both the New York and Atlanta editions' to chronicle the hip-hop music industry on the West Coast. Besides Mall, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood also stars Ray J, Omarion, Soulja Boy, Lil Fizz, Young Berg, Teairra Marie, Hazel E, Yesi Ortiz, Sincere and Nikki Mudarris. Do you think that this installment will do as well as the other two have in that Monday night time-slot?

How about Mally's upgrades to his Maybach? Is he smart to take some extra security measures to protect himself and whoever rides with him?
