Beyoncé's new country era doesn't only appeal to her dedicated Beyhive—other celebrities are donning their proverbial cowboy hats as well. Bronx native Cardi B even covered the song "Texas Hold 'Em" on social media.

Alas, her followers made fun of her, so in her typical style, she hilariously took them to task.

The rapper loves interacting with her fans regularly, as she always hosts live streams on social media, especially on TikTok.

Since the video-sharing platform allows fans to send donations through filters whenever they go live virtually, Cardi B's followers took the opportunity to make fun of her.

During her latest live stream, the "Bongos" hitmaker constantly received the cowboy hat and mustache filter, and whenever it popped out, she would sing a verse of Beyoncé's "Texas Hold 'Em" in a southern accent.

Billboard noted that Cardi B might've hopped on the "NPC" or "non-player character" trend on TikTok, which has been taking over social media over the past year.

In the end, the musician had enough, so she hilariously called out her supporters to stop sending the filter: "Alright, stop, dead a**... Stop right now."

Cardi B Was Affected by Negative Comments in 2023

Although most of the comments Cardi B received on social media were positive, especially on her live streams, there were also moments when she experienced negativity from other users. She recently admitted in an interview that they affected her.

The "WAP" rapper recently appeared in an interview with 360 with Speedy by Complex, in which she got candid about being "afraid" of receiving negative comments in 2023.

She further noted that she "barely dropped music" in 2023 because she was afraid to do anything.

Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter'

In other updates about Beyoncé, the musician unveiled the official album art of her upcoming country album Cowboy Carter, which is set to drop later this March.

In a post on Instagram, she revealed that the album's creation was inspired by an experience years ago when she didn't feel welcomed in the country genre. (via Entertainment Weekly)

"Because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive," she added.

The album comes out on March 29, 2024.
