50 Cent went down memory lane and shared a video from 20 years ago that featured his very public come-on to future ex-girlfriend Vivica A. Fox.

The musician took to his official Instagram account to share a throwback clip of him winning the Best New Artist award at the 2003 BET Awards. During his acceptance speech, he decided to shoot his shot and flirt with the actress, who was in the audience at the time.

"I'm just happy to be present with all of these beautiful people in here... I want to thank Vivica Fox for wearing that dress too," he said before walking off the stage, as Fox looked shocked but laughed after hearing the compliment. (via People)

However, in the caption, 50 Cent expressed his regret, noting that he should've kept his opinions to himself.

"I look back at some of the s*** that I did I gotta learn to shut the f*** up. Look at that look at end that's trouble," he wrote with a laughing emoji.

50 Cent, Vivica A. Fox Relationship History

According to Hot New Hip Hop, rumors about their relationship started circulating when they attended the MTV Video Music Awards together two months later, in August 2003. They walked the red carpet in matching gray-toned outfits.

In 2004, 50 Cent spoke about the short-lived relationship and alleged that Fox only wanted to be in a romantic relationship with him for her benefit.

He also noted that he didn't break up with the actress but left her on read. Unfortunately, the interview didn't help their connection, as Fox went on to defend herself.

Years later, it seemed like their friendship was back on, as she starred in one of his music videos in 2010. In a 2015 interview, the actress said the rapper was the love of her life even though they were only together for two months.

50 Cent, Vivica A. Fox Beef Continued

In October 2015, the outlet noted that the beef between the two reignited after Fox publicly questioned the rapper's sexuality on national television.

In response, 50 Cent decided to share unflattering photos of the actress on social media.

They reunited in 2017 when they bumped into each other at a basketball game, and the actress said in an interview with Wendy Williams that someone "has to be the bigger person" between them.

"We're not meant to be together, but I'll always have love for you," she said of the rapper.
