Willie Nelson is continuing his legacy through his annual 4th of July Picnic, and he recently announced that this year's performers will join him on stage; check out the details below.
According to Consequence, the musician's annual event will occur at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on July 4, 2024.
Joining him this year is a star-studded lineup consisting of Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, Maren Morris, Celisse, and Mavis Staples.
For those interested in buying tickets to his upcoming show, a ticket pre-sale will begin on March 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. ET (use the code KEY).
The rest of the tickets will roll out via Ticketmaster on March 29, 2024.

This will be the first time in years that the musician will hold his annual 4th of July festivities in another city.
Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic History
Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic began in 1973. He was inspired to host the event after he became one of the performers of the Dripping Springs Reunion in 1972.
At the time, he was slated to perform on the third day, but unfortunately, there weren't many attendees as the event was not promoted properly.
After that, Nelson was inspired to hold an event on his own through a 4th of July Picnic; he then had the inaugural event at the exact location where he performed the year prior.

Throughout the years, the singer has been able to bring some of the biggest musicians to his events, such as Rita Coolidge, Leon Russell, The Charlie Daniels Band, Waylon Jennings, and many more.
In 2023, the event was held at the Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, and featured a lineup that included Tyler Childers, Sierra Ferrell, and many more.
