As Timothée Chalamet embraces Bob Dylan in early photos of his upcoming biopic film, insider news emerges that Jeremy Allen White is in early talks of being cast as The Boss in a Bruce Springsteen biopic.

Fans seemed to be on board with the idea, and some are pointing out that if he does bag the role, he'll be a primer Oscar contender.

Jeremy Allen White in Bruce Springsteen Biopic?

The Hollywood Reporter reported that White is in talks to play the New Jersey legend in a biopic, currently titled Deliver Me From Nowhere, which is based on a 2023 book of the same name by Warren Zanes. The movie would chronicle Springsteen's creation of his iconic 1982 album, Nebraska.

A24 is reportedly circling the project, the same production house behind The Iron Claw, another White vehicle.

THR noted that Scott Cooper will adapt the script from Zanes' book and is also in talks to direct the film. Gotham Group is already on board with the project, with Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein as producers, along with Netflix film head Scott Stuber.

Nebraska, Springsteen's sixth album, is one of Springsteen's most highly regarded albums, and the Boss himself has said he feels it's his most definitive work.

"If I had to pick out one album and say, 'This is going to represent you 50 years from now,' I'd pick Nebraska," he told CBS Sunday Morning last year.

Meanwhile, early insider buzz maintains that White's involvement is still in the early stages and nothin has been signed.

Jeremy Allen White's breakout role as Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto in FX's The Bear won him a Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, as well as two Critics' Choice Awards, two Golden Globes, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
