Lady Gaga just celebrated her 38th birthday, and this year has been extra emotional for the pop star, as she considers 2024 something special. In addition, she teased fans about her new music, saying she's been writing songs.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Bad Romance" hitmaker shared a photo of herself flaunting her platinum blonde hair with matching bleached eyebrows.
In the lengthy caption, she wrote: "Today has been so special-I can't remember a time I was so happy on my bday. I am in love with my best friend, my family and friends are loving and kind and healthy."
She continued, saying that her heart was bursting with gratitude because of her health and music.
Lady Gaga Has Been Writing Her 'Best Music' in a Long Time
Later in the post, she revealed that she had been writing some of her "best music" for as long as she can remember. In addition, she also couldn't wait for the release of her movie Joker 2: Folie à Deux with Joaquin Phoenix.
Gaga has also been grateful for all the messages she received from fans and artists worldwide.
"Thank you thank you thank you for loving me the way you do and for having such a real love for my songs," she added.
The singer further reflected on her career, saying she had been writing pop songs since she was younger and couldn't believe she still got to do what she loved the most.
Regarding what's coming in 2024, the musician assured fans that this year will be important and meaningful to her and her supporters.
Lady Gaga Working As Fast As She Can to Release Next Album
The recent post comes after the singer spoke with Nikkie De Jager, also known as Nikkietutorials, in a livestream, giving an update about her next album.
The beauty content creator said she and the rest of the fans couldn't wait for LG7's release, to which Gaga replied that she had been working on it and she was finishing it to as many fans as she could.
As of this writing, Lady Gaga has yet to announce a release date for her next project. Her last album, Chromatica, was released in 2020, but she was able to drop a collaborative Jazz album with Tony Bennett titled Love For Sale.
Her latest release was Sweet Sounds of Heaven, a collaboration with the Rolling Stones.
