Billie Eilish seems to be teasing the release of her new album after she plastered potential new song lyrics on billboards throughout the world.

While the "Happier Than Ever" singer's name was not attached to any of the advertisements. Her signature "blohsh" logo could be seen on the signs in Los Angeles, New York, and more.

With a black background and blue writing, the different lyrics on display included lines like "I try to live in black and white," "Did I cross the line?," and "She's the headlights, I'm the deer." Eilish has not shared any of the billboards on social media or spoken out about their sightings.

The black and blue aesthetic comes after Eilish changed her profile picture on Instagram to a bright blue circle, a similar shade to what is used on the signs. The "Bad Guy" singer has insinuated in recent months that her album is coming soon after she finished mastering it in February.

Eilish used a similar tactic in 2021 to announce her Happier Than Ever album. Before she announced the news herself, several signs with the album's title, cover, and release date were plastered throughout several major cities.

While a release date and album title is currently under wraps, one known aspect about the album is that Eilish will be using sustainable products to manufacture the vinyl. Last week, the Barbie singer spoke out against music artists releasing "wasteful" physical releases of their work.

While Eilish released eight different vinyl pressings of her Happier Than Ever LP, 100% recycled black vinyl was used for the standard pressings. Other recycled scraps were used for the multi-colored vinyl variants. Each record was enclosed in shrink wrap made from sugar cane, as opposed to using plastic.

Eilish's comments led several social media users to assume she was hinting at disapproval over the amount of vinyl pressings for Taylor Swift's Tortured Poet's Department and Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter, both of which have at least four different-colored pressings. However, the "No Time to Die" songstress has since shut down the potential beef.

"okay so it would be so awesome if people would stop putting words into my mouth and actually read what i said in that billboard article," Eilish wrote on her Instagram story. "i wasn't singling anyone out, these are industry-wide systemic issues. & when it comes to variants, so many artists release them - including ME! which i clearly state in the article."

Eilish's recent Best Original Song Oscar win for "What Was I Made For" was her second win at the Academy Awards, following a victory in the same category for James Bond song "No Time to Die" in 2022. The win made her the youngest person to ever win two Oscars, following actress Luise Rainer who won back-to-back years for her acting almost 90 years ago. The song also won a GRAMMY Award for Song of the Year.

Eilish told Variety last year that writing "What Was I Made For?" actually locked her in to create new music, inspiring her to create the highly-anticipated third album.

"There is a whole album of music coming," Eilish shared several months ago. "We're in the final stages of making it, so that doesn't mean it's about to come out, but it is getting there and it's very exciting."
