Taylor Swift is gearing up to release her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, and fans think most of the songs will be about her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. More recently, an old interview with the pop star resurfaced, giving insight into her relationship with the men she dated.

According to Page Six, the video went viral on TikTok in which Swift explained that she didn't like hiding her relationships from the limelight, saying that it depends on who she's dating.

"It all depends on who you're with... If they have a serious issue with it, then you, I guess, hide or whatever. But I don't really like that," she said.

She added that hiding relationships feel like running from the law, and she didn't want to feel like she was a "fugitive" just for being romantically involved with someone.

As she detailed her thoughts in the interview, photos of herself, Joe Alwyn, and her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce, appeared in the video.

The outlet noted that throughout Swift and Alwyn's relationship, they often hid their faces from the paparazzi or ran away from the cameras.

It was significantly different from her romance with Kelce, as both of them love holding hands in public, going on dates, and even greeting fans whenever they encounter them.

Taylor Swift Travis Kelce Spotted at Coachella

The recent viral video comes after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attended Coachella to watch several musical acts, including the pop star's producer, Jack Antonoff, the lead singer of the band Bleachers.

The NFL athlete recalled his festival experience in the recent episode of his New Heights podcast, saying he loves music, going to events, and attending events to see talented people.

The couple spent time in the crowd with thousands of fans despite their career status. When asked why he opted to be in the pit instead of backstage or on the side of the stage, Kelce said he wanted to see fans' perspectives as they watched an artist perform.

"I want to see it from the front of the stage. We probably could have finessed it that way, but I think it's that much more of an experience if you're in the pit, in the madness with the fans," he added.

Taylor Swift, Joe Alwyn Relationship

According to People magazine, Swift and Alwyn's romance started making rounds online in 2017. They went on to spend time with each other's family and support one another's projects.

After six years of being in a relationship, they reportedly broke up in April 2023 amid the pop star's sold-out Eras Tour shows, as many noticed that Alwyn never attended one.

Later, a source told the outlet that their breakup was due to "differences in their personalities."
