Country music superstar Blake Shelton is reportedly considering a comeback to the popular singing reality show, The Voice.

However, the "Minimum Wage" singer has two strict conditions that must be met before he agrees to return as a judge.

These conditions involve his wife and former Voice co-judge, Gwen Stefani, and a desire to reunite with the original gang that started the show. Will the show's producers be able to meet his demands and bring back the beloved coach?

The Conditions for Shelton's Possible The Voice Comeback

Now, an insider informed The U.S. Sun, there are pathways for Shelton to come back to the hit singing reality TV show.

"Blake may have said his time on the show is over, but he has not closed the door for good," the insider said.

The source explained that Shelton values the opportunity to collaborate with Stefani and cherishes their time working together. He even reportedly reached a point where being apart from the "Hollaback Girl" singer for extended periods is not something he wants, and he believes doing the show is more enjoyable with her by his side.

"He certainly is aware that the fans engaged the most with the show through social media," the insider said, "from when [Stefani] and [Shelton] were together to all through their journey from rival coaches to man and wife."

In entertainment, there's something magical about a triumphant return, especially when it involves fan favorites.

Aware of the potential significant impact, industry decision-makers likely understand the importance of rekindling this partnership to attract audience engagement and capitalize on promotional prospects.

"[Shelton] has also been vocal about his hope to bring back the gang that started the show so well," the source added. "He feels getting Adam [Levine], CeeLo [Green], and Christina [Aguilera] would be an excellent way to promote the show."

Shelton, Levine, Aguilera, and Green were the original four Voice judges when the show premiered in 2011.

"Realistically, it would likely take a large amount of money to get them all back," the Sun's source right pointed out. "However, if the network could bring in major sponsor and endorsement deals, that could help make the [original] team reuniting a possibility," the insider concluded.

Now in its 25th season, country-pop duo Dan + Shay became the first-ever pair to occupy a judges' chairs on the popular competition show. In addition to the duo, Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper are also on the judging panel this season.
