Calvin Harris, the maestro of summer bangers, has fans buzzing with speculation over his latest teaser, hinting at a potential collaboration with none other than Miley Cyrus.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the DJ shared a 50-second clip of the beach featuring a never-before-heard song of a song that many dubbed as a summer track.

The song began with a guitar instrumental as a voice that many believed to be Cyrus sang in the background.

"We were dancing, we were wild in the ocean... When the crowd is all around me, you're still all I see," the mystery singer sang before the beat dropped toward the end of the video.

Harris simply captioned the post with three wave emojis.

Although Calvin Harris didn't confirm who the mysterious singer in the teaser was, many fans took to the comment section to share their guesses, and most of them answered Miley Cyrus.

"Calvin and Miley on their Endless Summer Vacation era," one wrote.

"Miley's voice is so unique," another one wrote, while another one added, "Um EXCUSE ME IS THIS MILEY?!!! MILEY CYRUS?!!!"

"MILEY CYRUS??????????? OMGGGGG WE WILL WAIT," one commented.

As of this writing, Miley Cyrus has yet to confirm if she's the voice in the snippet.

According to Billboard, Calvin Harris last released an album in 2022 with his record Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 2.

The following year, Miley Cyrus released her album Endless Summer Vacation, which contained the hit song "Flowers," which bagged her two Grammy Awards this year.

In other updates about the pop star, a leak of the song "Heaven" made waves on social media late last month. It featured Justin Bieber and Cyrus' vocals.

As shared on Twitter but has yet to be confirmed by the two artists, the song was recorded around the same time as Cyrus' Plastic Hearts era and Bieber's Justice era.

The track sent fans into a frenzy, as many wanted it to be officially released. However, as of this writing, the two musicians have yet to address the leak.
