Pink reportedly expressed displeasure at the massive attention Taylor Swift received during her recent time in Australia.

The 44-year-old singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, visited Australia in March 2024. She performed at Sydney's Accor Stadium before bringing her unforgettable performances for her Summer Carnival tour to Brisbane and Townsville for additional stadium shows.

During that time, 34-year-old Swift was also in the city for the Australian segment of her highly successful and history-making Eras Tour. Accompanied by former Disney sensation Sabrina Carpenter as the opening act, the "Guilty As Sin" singer graced the stages of Accor Stadium in Sydney and MCG in Melbourne.

Internationally, all eyes were on Swift as she prepared to unveil her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, amid heightened curiosity about her romantic life. Meanwhile, Pink captivated audiences during her sold-out tour without much hype.

In a recent discussion on Nova's Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel show, Australian singer Sam Fischer expressed sympathy for "Just Give Me A Reason" singer, noting her apparent disappointment with the limited media attention compared to Swift's high-profile presence in the country.

Fischer suggested that Pink may have felt overshadowed by Swift during their overlapping visits.

Host Tim Blackwell said, "Did you think everyone's money is going into very, very few piles now."

Fischer replied, "Just Taylor Swift... but they need the cash, I get it!"

Blackwell also expressed sympathy for Pink, saying, "Pink is out here riding her bike around the Opera House saying 'I'm here too!'"

"It's kind of funny everyone's talking about Beyoncé and Taylor doing the stadium shows but Pink's also out here selling them all out. I have a friend whose Pink's background singer and my friend Danny said she's really just pissed off no one's talking about the fact that she's also selling out stadiums."

In 2017, Pink expressed remorse for publicly aligning herself with Swift during a high-profile spat within the music industry. The conflict had arisen between Swift and Katy Perry over a dispute involving their shared backing dancers. Their disagreements spilled over onto social media, culminating in Swift's release of the song "Bad Blood" as a pointed message to Perry.

After their disagreement, the two women have come together and put aside hatred, resolving their differences. Their conflict was a focal point of public discussions, prompting Pink to choose a radio interview in London in 2017 - a decision she would regret.

She told the LA Times, "I should've just kept my mouth shut, because I don't believe that. I don't care," after saying she was "Team Taylor."

"I felt rushed and I didn't know what to do. And I paid for it, because then the next day: 'Pink is Team Taylor.' I have two kids - I have a baby. And it's so different now. I'm not inclined toward drama and feuds and soundbites."
