It has been more than 20 years since fans first caught a glimpse of that big orange couch in one of the opening scenes of Friends but it kind of feels like just last week that we last saw Ross Geller and Rachel Green together on camera, doesn't it? Maybe it's because the show still airs daily in syndication that it feels like the show has never really gone away and the fans seem to love that. It's not just that Friends was a show with great characters but it made us all kind of wish that we had a Central Perk coffeehouse to meet up at every night after a long work day. Finally the most diehard fans can walk into a pop up version of Central Perk for a limited time in NYC.

In honor of she shows anniversary Warner Bros. has joined with Eight O'clock Coffee to open a pop up version of Central Perk complete with nostalgic items straight from the original set- including that infamous couch. The cafe features free snacks and lots of photo opportunities at its' 199 Lafayette Street location and will remain open until October 18th.

James Michael Tyler served lattes as Gunther on the hit show for a decade and he has been on hand at the pop up cafe to greet unsuspecting fans. He encourages fans to stop in to see firsthand some of the relics from this iconic show. There are also giveaways and all sorts of surprises planned throughout the next month at the Central Perk pop up cafe.

Were you kind of obsessed with Friends back in the day? Better yet to you still catch yourself watching the reruns even though you've probably seen all of the episodes several times over?
