Sure, you could be herded into metal cubicles and crushed up against other attendees for literally the shoe day at the Times Square New Year's Eve celebration, or you could head to Madison Square Garden about ten blocks south of there to check out Skrillex and Diplo as the new year rings in (and you'll be able to get up and go to the restroom whenever you want).

The pair announced that they'll be celebrating the opening to 2015 together during a show at New York City's most heralded venue. Most aware that the pay have teamed up to form a "super duo" Jack U but the show won't be limited to that act. Skrillex and Diplo will both get their own sets along with a collaboration set. No word yet on who'll be on the stage when the clock strikes midnight. SPIN reports that additional acts will be announced as the actual date approaches.

Tickets will range between $55 and $150, which is a heck of a lot cheaper than most New Year's Eve gigs hosted by popular EDM acts. You can bet that there will be at least a few of the top-ranked DJ's playing warehouse gigs around the city that night (Deadmau5 played a warehouse in Manhattan two years ago and at Nassau Memorial Coliseum last year).

Stay tuned later in the year when we'll provide a map and summary of where to find where the biggest DJ's in the world will be come New Year's Eve.
