Justin Moore just completed a tour leg in support of Miranda Lambert, but he's ready to hit the road again and support his album Off The Beaten Path.

"We're gonna do a second leg to what was our headlining tour," Moore told Enterprise News a couple weeks ago. "Then I'll take two months off for the holiday and after that we'll start again on tour with Miranda next year for a few months."

Moore and Lambert appear to be pretty good buddies.

"The tour is great," he said. "Miranda and I have been buddies for a long time and [Thomas Rhett] and I are good buddies so I have fun with everyone. It's a lot better when you get to tour with your real, true friends. The camaraderie between us is my favorite part of being on this tour."

But it's time to go solo for awhile. Here are the dates (just announced):

09/27: Callahan, FL @ Northeast Outdoor Recreational Park

Moore also spoke about the ever-chaning sound of country (some would say country-pop) radio.

"It's a mixed bag now," he said. "It's obviously evolved in the way it sounds dramatically. I'm a traditional sounding country artist, which is not easy to find these days. That's what I play because that's what I love and that's what naturally comes out of me. I don't have a problem with all the other stuff out there though. It has helped make our format the biggest format in music. As long as we don't forget where we come from, it doesn't bother me a bit."
