Just a few days before learning their fate in the punishment phase of their admitted financial crimes case, Teresa and Joe Giudice decided to throw one heck of a party.
The supposedly cash-strapped couple hosted a "Stay Strong" party at Pure Lounge in Parsippany, New Jersey, and seemed to be having the time of their lives. The Giudices were laughing and joking with family and friends as if they did not have a care in the world.
In reality, this was perhaps the last party this couple will ever attend together.
Teresa Giudice pled guilty March 4 to counts of fraud, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey star could face up to 35 years in jail while Joe giudice is facing a much stiffer penalty as well as the possibility of deportation after serving his anticipated prison sentence.
Teresa Giudice is likely facing about two years of some sort of confinement either in a prison facility or under house arrest. Many fans are wondering if the Newark, New Jersey, judge who has been assigned to this case will decide to make an example out of the reality TV duo and throw the proverbial book at them.
In recent weeks, the couple has listed three properties on the market and battled pregnancy and divorce rumors. Is Teresa Giudice really the kind of woman to purposely get pregnant in the hopes that a judge would find more mercy on her? Some RHONJ fans seem to think so.
Probably more likely is the rumor that Teresa Giudice is planning on filing for divorce. It is possible she is holding the family together for now, but once Joe Giudice is removed, then it will be every Bravolebrity for themselves.
