Not that he needed to, but 'Weird Al' Yankovic stopped by NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers last night to talk up his recently dropped album Mandatory Fun and all the hype it's garnered since it's mid-July release date.

During his time next to the Saturday Night Live album, Yankovic hit all the topics we were all hoping to hear about: how he felt when his 14th studio album hit number one, clearing the air with Iggy Azalea and how James Brown just cannot understand how to play Wheel of Fortune –– yes, really.

On finding out Mandatory Fun hit No. 1 on Billboard's chart, Yankovic states, "I was back stage at @midnight. ... I walk in the green room, and my manager's there, my wife is there, my daughter's there, my inlaws are there and they've got a big sign that said 'No. 1' and a big cake."

The two then discussed how Madonna initially thought up the idea of "Like A Surgeon":

And his recent "ambush" on Iggy Azalea in order to cover her acclaimed hit "Fancy." Apparently the musician flew to her concert just to ask her.

The parodist ended his time at Late Night by telling perhaps the funniest story we've heard about James Brown and Little Richard. All we can say is we guess not everyone gets how to play Wheel of Fortune. Check out the final piece of the interview below for more:

Mandatory Fun is available now for purchase in both digital download form and hard coopy.
