Kevin Hart Does James Brown on 'SNL' in Skit with Keenan Thompson, Bobby Moynihan [WATCH]
Kevin Hart put on quite a show over the weekend when he stopped by "Saturday Night Live." The actor brushed off his James Brown impression for a skit that centered around the Godfather of Soul and his backing band The Famous Flames. It was one of the funnier sketches of the night. Hart's Brown is preparing for a 1971 gig at The Apollo Theater in Harlem. He and the band are running through the funky number "Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine" when they start to poke fun at the call-and-response nature of the group. Hart starts asking the band — which includes Keenan Thompson, Bobby Moynihan and Cecily Strong, among others — if they should "get more funky." They answer "yeah" a few times before Hart takes it a step further. -
Eminem, Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Marvin Gaye Recordings Used for Illegal Prison Mixtapes...Universal Music Bringing Lawsuit
No good deed goes unpunished. Or at least no profitable act disguised as a good deed goes unpunished. Among the acts represented on the tapes are Eminem, Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Marvin Gaye. -

Species Named after Famous Musicians: Mick Jagger, Beyoncé, Bono, Jim Morrison and Many More
Mick Jagger had the honor (or something like it), as Music Times reporter Carolyn Menyes wrote earlier this week, of having an extinct species of pig named after him.
