Music documentaries are all the rage and so is Electronic Dance Music. So how about some EDM-based films to keep you up on both trends? We've got word on two in the pipeline that will ready for viewing later during 2014.

25 Years of Perfection

The annual DJMag list of the world's best DJ's is one of the most controversial lists you'll find in music. The same publication's list of the top nightclubs in the world tends to inspire ire less however. Almost annually, Space Ibiza on the titular Spanish island tops that chart as the best place to catch EDM music in the world. The venue is celebrating its 25th year of business by releasing a documentary on the subject.

Those giving soundbites for the film will be esteemed disc jockeys Nic Fanciulli and Sasha, as well as time dedicated to the club's most famous resident performer, Carl Cox. The club's owner, Pepe Rosello, is also rumored to make an appearance, according to Dancing Astronaut. His famous quote about the club: "the most beautiful people per square meter in the whole world."

We should probably watch the documentary because it's clear we're never getting in.

Let's Build A Spaceship: Skrillex Mothership Tour 2014

You may be able to guess from the title, but this documentary highlights the king of dubstep as he tours throughout 2014. Having caught Skrillex at both Governors Ball and Lollapalooza this year, we can attest that at least the live show is worth checking out and maybe this documentary as well.

The film will of course feature behind-the-scenes footage at the tour and its making, hopefully including some footage of his stage spaceship being built. The film will be available for viewing on most digital media streaming platforms following his October 11 performance at the Austin City Limits music festival.
