The good people over at PicClick decided to look at the relationship between brands and hip-hop artists recently, and they found that "Gucci" was dropped the most by some of the genre's biggest names.

MTV News has the full infographics up, but here are some of the findings. First, while Gucci may sit on top of all the brands, the three artists that helped get it there with the most drops were Jay Z, Lil Wayne and Nas. Nike sits at number two followed by Prada, Versace and Chanel. As far as personal favorites, The Game digs Nike, Kanye West likes Louis Vuitton and Lil' Kim, who was found to be the number one brand-dropping rapper, favors Versace.

Fashion is such an important aspect of hip-hop that many rappers have their own clothing line. Sean "Puffy" Combs launched Sean John in 1998 and it continues to be one of the best-selling hip-hop fashion brands. Jay Z followed suit in 1999 with Rocawear and now Pharrell (Billionaire Boys Club), Big Sean (Finally Famous), Wiz Khalifa (Freshko), T.I. (AKOO), J.Cole (Dreamville), Lil Wayne (Trukfit), Beyoncé (House of Dereon), Kanye (Runway Line) and Wu-Tang Clan (Wu Wear) all boast their own lines.

In May, Combs talked about taking his brand to the next level. "I'm not selling celebrity, I'm selling fashion," he said. "We've graduated at this point. We own fashion-tainment. I don't want to run from who I am. That's what makes it exciting, but from Day One I was building a brand. I was never doing a celebrity clothing line."
