There's definitely good money in crafting a song perfect for weddings. The main reason Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" is a staple at every wedding, versus Boston's better "More Than A Feeling," is because the latter is about a breakup. But we digress. Jason Derulo has crafted the next smash you'll be hearing at weddings (and proposals) for years to come.

"Marry Me" serves as a proposal unto itself, with Derulo inquiring "will you marry me?" in a warbling falsetto, and declaring that "A hundred and five is the number that comes to my head / When I think of all the years I want to be with you." Whereas tracks such as Usher's "DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again" is sincere its nightclub approach to romance, Derulo goes straight for the heart on this one, with simple piano accompaniment at the beginning and culminating with a swell of drums on top.

In fact, the song seems a little TOO sincere. Should his girlfriend Jordin Sparks be paying attention?Derulo and Sparks have kept their relationship farther away from the paparazzi than other celebrity couples have, but a proposal is something a guy wants the whole world to see. An R&B stunner like "Marry Me" would be tough to say "no" to. The cover art for the single features an engagement ring, although the same ring appears as a tattoo on Derulo's neck.

Derulo debuted the song Monday on "On The Air With Ryan Seacrest" and the single was immediately made available on iTunes. His new album, "Tattoos," is set for a September 20 release. "Marry Me" is confirmed as a track on the album.
