Jason Derulo said Sean "Diddy" Combs would remain innocent until proven guilty of the allegations thrown against him.

Celebrities started to weigh in on Diddy's issues after the Department of Homeland Security launched simultaneous raids at his Miami and Los Angeles properties in March. While the embattled rap mogul has continuously received accusations from different people, Derulo said Diddy should not be persecuted yet.

Jason Derulo Shares Thoughts on Diddy's Status

On Tuesday, April 11, a TMZ photographer asked Derulo about Diddy since he has worked with him.

"Do you feel like people should be giving him some grace? Or at least giving him the grace of, you know, saying, you know, he is innocent until proven guilty," said the reporter.

Derulo replied, "I believe in that."

The 34-year-old "Talk Dirty" hitmaker commented on Diddy's current situation amid the federal drama the latter faces. 50 Cent broke his silence and swiped at Diddy and Jay-Z.

Diddy's lawyer, Aaron Dyer, also criticized the feds and the searches, which he called "a gross overuse of military-level force."

"This unprecedented ambush - paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence - leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits," he wrote in the March 26 message. "There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name."

Diddy has not commented on the issues after previously denying the claims.
