If you wanted official proof that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are no longer smitten with each other, you've got it now. Cannon was recently seen walking around shirtless with an intricate religious tattoo design on his back. Cool, right? Except for the fact that this used to mark the same place.
Mariah has been overdubbed by a dove and rays of heavenly light that shine down on Jesus.
Complex points out that another tat might need some reworking:
Mariah also got a tattoo in honor of her husband-the words "Mrs. Cannon" inside a butterfly on her lower back. No word on whether she's covered hers up yet, but if she decides to it'll definitely be a quicker job than Nick's was.
As reported earlier, the couple has decided to end their six-year marriage.
While several rumors swirl around Cannon's infidelity (Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian typically make appearances), the root of the couple's issues could be much simpler.
Carey was apparently upset that Cannon kept taking job offers, even when the couple didn't necessarily need the money. She wanted him to spend more time at home with her and the kids.
"I will be sitting at home alone, just alone, pining away, being like, 'Thanks Nick, hope you're having fun at All Star Weekend,'" she told ET when asked about her Valentine's Day plans. "I can't be mad at him, he's working, you know? I know a lot of people that don't work at all. So, let's be happy that the man is working and I know he'll be with us, and he's in our hearts."
On the other side of things, Cannon said it became hard to deal with Carey because she only keeps "yes men" around her and couldn't handle disagreements.
Carey is currently on her Elusive Chaunteuse Tour, while Cannon recently announced plans for a children's poetry book.
