Let's hear it for the ladies! For the fifth week in a row, women are absolutely dominating the Billboard Hot 100. Led by Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass," female artists make up the top five spots in the country for the fifth week in a row, shattering the previous record (and maybe the glass ceiling, just a bit).

For the fifth week in a row, Trainor has topped the Hot 100 with her body-positive (but not wholly female embracing) anthem "All About That Bass," according to Billboard. Trainor's top spot comes courtesy of leading all the major chart components: she sold the most copies of her song (202,000), had the most steams (13.9 million) and the most radio audience impressions (149 million).

Taylor Swift's pop juggernaut "Shake It Off" continues to clock time at No. 2 and plays second fiddle for the fifth week in a row. She helps to lead the pack of five females at the top of the chart, with Iggy Azalea's "Black Widow," Jessie J's "Bang Bang" and Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" all sticking around in the top five for - you guessed it - the last five weeks, albeit in slightly different positions. (They are listed in numerical order above.)

Actually, the top SIX spots on the Hot 100 are led by ladies. After four weeks of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" at No. 6, Tove Lo's debut single "Habits (Stay High)" climbed up one spot this week. Thanks to a 31 percent rise in radio play, Tove Lo is resting comfortably at No. 6.

"Habits" is finally followed by the first male artist on the Hot 100 this week, with Jeremih's "Don't Tell 'Em" rising two spots and landing at No. 7.

Similarly, he's followed by a pack of dudes. Maroon 5's latest single "Animals" shot up 25 spots this week and reached No. 8 status, thanks largely to the track's controversial music video. Though RAINN condemned the clip for its glorification of a stalker fantasy, the controversy worked in Maroon 5's favor with the song jumping up from No. 31 to No. 9 on the Streaming Songs chart. There was also a boost in sales (115,000) and a touch more radio play, with 37 million audience impressions.

Two familiar singles, Smith's "Stay With Me" and Ariana Grande's "Break Free" round out the top 10, at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.
