It's Nicki Minaj, Jessie J and Ariana Grande, but you're not going to miss them. Last night (Aug. 24), the powerful pop trio opened up the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards with a medley of performances, "Break Free," "Anaconda" and, finally, their collaborative track "Bang Bang." Immediately after the final notes rang through The Forum in Inglewood, California, the track's highly anticipated music video debuted, and it's all about taking on the streets of New York City.

As teased in a behind-the-scenes trailer, the music video for "Bang Bang" begins with J strutting her stuff in NYC. Wearing a sparkling black bra top, suspenders and round shades, J arrives on the steaming summer streets. Though the ice cream vendors and lethargic looking people indicate that it's already hot enough as it is, J is looking to heat things up with a big old block party (all while wearing Beats by Dre, of course).

Then, Grande takes the screen cooling things down in a beach-themed bedroom set. It's all white for Grande, even though she sings about being quite the naughty girl.

Finally, Minaj emerges on a rooftop, coming in via helicopter like the queen she is. Storming above the skyline, Minaj commands attention as images of J and Grande flash up on the screen.

To prove they did, in fact, film this music video together at one point, J, Grande and Minaj join forced on top of the roof, partying it up with enthusiastically dancing extras.

It's a summer music video for a summer song.
