On Nov. 11, an album of lost Bob Dylan lyrics set to new music, titled Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapeswill be released and feature Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes and Rhiannon Giddens of Carolina Chocolate Drops. Today, the lyric video for one of the album's songs, "Spanish Mary," was sung by Giddens and released. You can check it out below.

The Joe Humpay-directed lyric video features some gorgeous animation, which incorporates pre-20th century illustrations of buildings, animals and monsters to go along with its eerie, Tom Waits-esque arrangement, and it looks better than most official music videos.

"Spanish Mary" was sung by Rhiannon Giddens, whose arrangement of the song was inspired by its Caribbean-themed lyrics.

"Out of all the lyrics I looked through for the New Basement Tapes project, the one for 'Spanish Mary' attracted me first," she said in a statement via Exclaim. "Here was a ballad, and I know ballads! It's also set in the Caribbean, so I felt the deep African sound of the minstrel style banjo (circa 1856) was appropriate."

"It was an absolute thrill to get to set music to Dylan's lyric, what an opportunity!" Giddens added. "The project is marked with utter generosity from everyone involved."

"Spanish Mary" is the fourth lyric video to be shared from Lost on the River, following "Nothing to It," "Married to My Hack" and "When I Get My Hands on You."
