Chris Brown may have ruffled a few feathers with his comment that Ebola is a "form of population control," but he has a few choice words for those who took offense. Brown took to social media earlier this week and tweeted a response to the backlash:

In the wee hours of Monday morning, Brown took the opportunity to share his thoughts on the current Ebola crisis tweeting:

As previously noted, some of his millions of followers called him an "idiot" or "stupid" upon reading the tweet. Others went as far as to suggest he "should try it." Aside from the backlash, some just laughed it off and told the 25-year-old singer to "go to bed."

After reading some of the responses, Brown sent out another tweet, saying he should probably keep his mouth shut:

It was revealed by the World Health Organization that the Ebola virus has killed more than 4,000 people, most of whom live in Liberia. Some 41 United Nations staffers in Liberia are now being closely observed.

One person in the United States, Thomas Eric Duncan, died from the disease. The second case of Ebola in the United States has been diagnosed in a nurse who had been wearing protective gear.
