Fall Out Boy is going all Roman in its new music video for "Centuries." Today (Oct. 17), FOB turned its Suzanne Vega-sampling new single into a cinematic music video featuring a gladiator duel to the death, chariots and some Game of Thrones-style evil monarchies.

The movie-style clip begins with Fall Out Boy members Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman getting carted off into a battle. Decked out in total 300 style Roman outfits, the rocking foursome receive small tokens from a mysterious, hooded figure. A piece of string, a small piece of fabric and a stone. Little did they know then how such a small item would save their lives...

The band then enters into the arena, all set to the song's dramatic, epic riffs. Five men enter and only, well, four can leave. The members of Fall Out Boy have to battle for their lives against a giant of a man and are instantly smashed upon trying to take him on. A sword seems unhelpful and despite all attempts, even the band's frontman Wentz cannot seem to overtake the massive man.

All the while, the royalty and gods look upon the battle, with the evil king gaining nothing but pure amusement from the smashing of FOB.

Even though all hope seems lost for the band, eventually they combine the string, rock and fabric to create the ultimate weapon... and the result is sort of gruesome.

At the pleasing of the hooded man, who is revealed to be an angel, Fall Out Boy will live down in history... at least for now.
