Since 1996, Smalltown Poets has been a fixture in Christian music with a strong and consistent fanbase. Even with a six year break from 2004 to 2010, the members remained friends even though at times, they have been scattered all over the country. This year, for the first time since 1998, all five original members got together in the studio in Atlanta, Georgia to record a new Christmas project called Christmas Time Again which is set for release on November 25, 2014.

In a press release, lead singer Michael Johnston talked about it, saying, "Through the miracles of modern technology and recording, we have been able to still create music as a band, even though the 5 of us all live in different cities across the country. This opportunity to all come back together to record has been an amazing experience. It felt a lot like coming home."

Keyboardist Danny Stephens added, "Almost immediately, we fell back into place musically. From picking out songs to arrangements to performance, it seems as if we never stopped touring and living in the same areas."

Christmas Time Again will be Smalltown Poets' second Christmas project. 2011s Smalltown Poets Christmas did so well adn was so much fun to record and share, the band wanted the second holiday offering to be even better. Offering traditional holiday carols, favorite songs and a few originals was good, but they wanted more. Through a campaign on PledgeMusic, they got it. Through the campaign, supporters of Smalltown Poets can receive unique and exclusive offerings, including music, merchandise, autographed drumsticks, and even a Christmas card from the band. Of course, all supporters will receive the album several weeks before the official release.

Running through October 28, the campaign only has two weeks to go. Pledge amounts run from $10 to $8000, there are goodies for everyone.

Perks include:
$10 - Digital download
$15 - Physical CD
$20 - Personalized Christmas card
$25 - The new CD, signed by the band members

$750 - The band will cover the song of your choice and send you the MP3
