As if regularly playing a dozen or so characters isn't more than enough for any one actress to handle, Tatiana Maslany is now headed to the New York stage for the world premiere of Neil LaBute's The Way We Get By. Maslany will star opposite Thomas Sadoski who, aside from being a theater alum, currently has a regular gig on HBO's The Newsroom. Maslany and Sadoski will portray Beth and Doug, two sexual predators that hooked up after a wedding and are now waking up together the morning after. Previews kick off on May 12 at the Second Stage theater.

Maslany is currently garnering critical acclaim for her multiple roles on Orphan Black. The series is a sci-fi thriller about cloning that currently airs on BBC America, with each clone being played to perfection by the young actress. In just a few short seasons Orphan Black has become a cult classic with fans that have loudly protested Maslany's not winning an Emmy. If you've seen her performance in even one episode you'll likely understand why many feel the actress has been slighted. Ironically, Orphan Black seems to have the majority of television critics wrapped around their finger so it's odd that the collective praise hasn't amounted to an Emmy for Maslany.

While her schedule is obviously jam-packed just with work on Orphan Black, Maslany is still finding time to venture into other acting genres. She just wrapped production on a film with Ryan Reynolds and now Maslany is working on an NBC miniseries called The Slap. It's pretty obvious that finding great success with one project isn't nearly enough for Maslany as she continues to strategically tackle each acting genre.
