Even though the majority of the fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey have turned on her, Teresa Giudice is still cranking out posts on social media to try and make it look like all is well. She and husband Joe Giudice are celebrating their 15th anniversary this weekend, and it was commemorated with a photo of the couple together. Unlike in the past, when Teresa has done everything in her power to convince us that her marriage is fabulous, this photo seems to have a bit of distance and ice between the once-tight couple.
Perhaps it is because not only was Teresa shocked to receive jail time in her part in the couple's fraud case, but she will be going away first. Teresa has to report to the Danbury, Connecticut, prison camp Jan. 5, and it is likely causing an enormous amount of resentment to slowly start to creep in.
She has supposedly met with divorce attorneys, and it seems quite unlikely that this marriage will survive a five-year separation when you factor in the fact that after her sentence is served Joe has to report for more than four years. Also, after serving his time there is an good chance he will be deported back to Italy, a place his wife is refusing to live in.
Do you think Teresa and Joe realize this anniversary will likely be one of their last for good? Is there any chance this marriage will survive everything that is stacked against it? When Teresa goes to Danbury, Joe will be responsible for their four children, and she has already expressed concern about him caring for them just as she has done over the years.
