Ever since the dissolution of Swedish House Mafia, people have wondered what would happen to the individual parts, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. Steve Angello and his Size Records have flourished with loads of new music, while Axwell has at last had the time to finish up some long awaited IDs from his massive collection of unreleased tracks.

Earlier this year Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso joined forces to create, Axwell Λ Ingrosso and officially debuted a host of new music, including "Can't Hold Us" when they headlined Governor's Ball in June. In September they confirmed their debut album set for release some time next year, which has been signed to Def Jam Records according to Thump. The duo gave away their debut track, "We Come, We Rave, We Love" in anticipation of their Governor's Ball performance and it has arguably been one of the biggest festival tracks of the summer. Their summer was a busy one, not only playing gigs for their own solo careers, which are still operating at a high level parallel to Axwell Λ Ingrosso, but also performing a weekly residency in Ibiza and also several other festival dates along the way.

Earlier tonight Zane Lowe on BBC Radio One premiered "Can't Hold Us" as the "Hottest Record In The World" via (Beatport News). The artwork for the track lends itself to the notion that they have filmed a big time music video, so be on the look out for that.

The track shows a bit of a different direction from the more melodic, anthems that these two have been releasing. The harder, grittier track makes things interesting in the context of their album and how it will blend in with the rest of their upcoming material. No word on when the track will be released but stay tuned right here for any more info.
