Calvin Harris only submitted one song to Rihanna for her new album, but she turned it down.

The producer told Kiss FM that — due to his own new project, Motion — he "didn't have time" to work on more than one track for the Ri album.

"I had an album to finish, so I did that," he said (via Digital Spy). "But I did one track and Tinashe wrote the top line, and I did all the music. I love it. But I don't think she was into it. So I don't know what is going to happen to that because it's really good."

Meanwhile, Harris made a new song — "Outside" — for Ellie Goulding, and he said it's his "favorite track ever."

"I just want to write good music that sounds cool," he elaborated. "Music that sounds interesting; I feel like that with the Ellie track. I want to work with her again because it's fun to work with her."

In related news, Rihanna was recently welcomed back to Instagram with open arms. She was suspended from the social networking website in May following some racy pictures of herself, but she apparently did enough to convince the fine people at Insta to let her back on the site.

As previously reported, a Roc Nation memo with information on Rihanna's upcoming album was leaked last month.

The doc gave fans a look at a potential tracklist (featuring 14 songs, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Big Sean), and listed a Nov. 25 release date.
