Can Caroline Manzo save The Real Housewives of New Jersey? The Italian mom had enough of the crazy chaos and opted not to do season six of the reality show that just finished airing this week. Bravo gave her family their own spin-off show, Manzo'd with Children that did even better than the network had hoped, solidifying what they already knew — Manzo has a huge fan base. That's something that could come in handy if RHONJ has any hope of returning for a seventh season, especially since Teresa Giudice will be reporting to a Connecticut prison camp in less than two months.

For the majority of the reality show's run, Giudice had been the center of attention but once news of her pleading guilty on several counts of fraud broke fan backlash began. The ratings in season six took a major dip and in order to get anyone to tune in for another season Bravo knows that they'll need to do something major. A report by Radar Online broke the news that Manzo may be back in the mix.

"Bravo has always liked Caroline. They realize with Teresa gone they are going to have to do something to keep viewers intrigued, interested, and tuned in. Bravo wants to ensure the ratings for next season are strong, Caroline always brought Italian-Mom realness to the show, which viewers connected with. She also has a big fan base. Caroline always likes to keep people thinking about what her next move will be. If the offer from Bravo is right, Caroline will definitely consider it."

Ironically, Manzo'd with Children is likely to get a second season which means that the fiery redhead could be doing double duty for the network. What are your thoughts on the possibility of Manzo returning to RHONJ? Would it be enough to make you watch or do you think that it's time for Bravo to pull the plug on the series?
