Even the biggest Taylor Swift fan can't outdo the singer when it comes to lip-syncing her own songs. That's probably why the new video of the "Shake It Off" performer miming words to her recent hit "Blank Space" in a car is so great. BBC Radio 1's Greg James joined Swift for the fun performance of the 1989 tune, Taste of Country notes, which was thankfully captured on camera.

The pair's recreation of an everyday ritual for most folks is hilarious. There's nothing like driving somewhere with your favorite song playing and performing the hell out of it like no one's watching. Swift is borderline adorable as she flails around and illustrates every word of the song with her crazy hand gestures. James isn't too bad either, but you pretty much forget about him since you're witnessing Taylor Swift lip-syncing a Taylor Swift song like you probably do on your way home from work on a Friday. Check it out below.

Swift's actual music video for the song dropped last week and she plays up the line, "Got a long list of ex-lovers/They'll tell you I'm insane."

1989 came out last month and, as is tradition with most of Swift's releases, has conquered the charts and radio airwaves. It's currently on top of the Billboard 200 albums chart and shows no signs of stepping down anytime soon.

"This is still an artist who likes to let it rip," Rob Sheffield wrote about the album for Rolling Stone. "Deeply weird, feverishly emotional, wildly enthusiastic, 1989 sounds exactly like Taylor Swift, even when it sounds like nothing she's ever tried before. And yes, she takes it to extremes."
