Yesterday, Nov. 18, saw the re-release of Grand Theft Auto V for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and among its many new features are 162 new songs across its 17 fictional radio stations. Today, experimental hip-hop producer Flying Lotus shared one of his contributions to the game's new soundtrack, a moody and intense track titled "Medication Meditation" featuring Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, which you can check out below but the artwork above.

The track is a stark difference from FlyLo's most recent album You're Dead! Instead of being highly complex and jazz-inflected, this is much more traditionally hip-hop, in no small part due to Krayzie Bone's wildly energetic verses. Being a Flying Lotus track, however, it still does not sound anything like your typical 2014 hip-hop single.

"Medication Meditation" will be included on the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack, which will be released as a limited edition box set Dec. 9 through Mass Appeal Records. Along with Flying Lotus's contributions, the soundtrack also features original music from Tyler, the CreatorWavvesTwin ShadowA$AP Rocky and Yeasayer. In total, the box set spans 59 new tracks across six vinyl records or three CDs.

In addition to contributing new music, Flying Lotus also has his own radio station in the game, called FlyLo FM. Among the artists featured on FlyLo FM are Aphex Twin, Hudson Mohawke, OutKast and more.

Flying Lotus's most recent album You're Dead! was released Oct. 6. It was his first album since 2012's Until the Quiet Comes, as well as the producer's first top 20 album. The album features guest verses from Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg as well as contributions from Thundercat, Niki Randa and Dirty Projectors guitarist Angel Deradoorian.
