Zedd has released the music video for his hit remix of MAGIC!'s smash single "Rude." The video is clearly sponsored by Absolut and is really just an advertisement for them as it is posted for on the Absolut YouTube channel and features the alcohol placed throughout the video.

The video follows one young man on his Saturday, from the time he wakes up like the opening lyrics in the song "Rude," "Saturday morning jumped out of bed," to his eventful and Absolut filled night. He heads over to a friends place to hang out with friends and drink Absolut, not before catching the eye of some cutie on the subway. He heads over to his friends place and catches another lady's eye and they hit it off on their way to a special Absolut sponsored Zedd concert, but the footage then focuses more on Zedd and his theatrics on stage with an Absolut bottle shaped light setup behind him.

For those critical of Zedd, they must remember that Zedd is not the first DJ to do this type of music video or work with Absolut. Swedish House Mafia released their video for "Greyhound" in part as an advertisement with Absolut. That video was much more creative then this one, and there was a little less product placement, but all the same, Absolut did sponsor that video in 2012. Avicii's "Wake Me Up" music video was criticized for its Ralph Lauren and Sony Xperia product placement.

This is not Zedd's first rodeo with an alcohol company. Zedd has also been a part of Bud Light Platinum's "Turn Up The Night" campaign (via Billboard) that also featured DJs like Steve Aoki and Audrey Napoleon. Now he goes a bit harder with Absolut as the calendar closes on 2014.
