    Magic! and its hit "Rude" has fallen far from the American Billboard Hot 100 at this point but at least one nation, Canada, hasn't forgotten the group. The reggae-influenced pop group took home three awards at the Canadian Radio Music Awards on Friday. The band won for Best New Group or Artist Adult Contemporary and Fans Choice, as well as SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) Song of The Year for its single, which went to no. 1 up north (as well as in the United States).

"Time" recently named the "Flawless (Remix)" featuring Nicki Minaj the best song of 2014 while the magazine called "Rude" by MAGIC! the year's worst.

    The biggest party night of the year just got a little bit better. Watching the ball drop on New Year's Eve in Times Square is one of the most iconic images from the changing of the calendar, and people fly in from all over the world to stand shoulder to shoulder in the frigid cold for hours just to be a part of it. The whole event in Times Square is always broadcast on TV, and it includes live performances from some of the biggest musicians playing at the time. This year's cast for "New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2015" is impressive headlined by Taylor Swift and is only going to get better with the additions of country stars Florida Georgia Line, Frozen soundtrack anthem "Let It Go" singer Idina Menzel and "Rude" stars MAGIC! According to "Billboard," Menzel will predictably sing "Let It Go," while Florida Georgia Line will perform a medley of tunes including "Cruise," "This Is How We Roll" and "Sun Daze," while MAGIC! will unleash smash single "Rude" and "Let Your Hair Down" on the Times Square crowd.
