The full demo version of Eminem's most commercially successful song, "Lose Yourself," is now available to stream. Although the production quality's a bit low, the track still hits hard with that recognizable riff and beat. Em's verses are tight and inspiring in the demo, which will be included on SHADYVX, but it's clear that the hook needed some work. The finished product ended up becoming an anthem for his movie 8 Mile, eventually winning the artist some major honors.

The song starts with a similar motivational-speech/question intro before launching into some different verses. Now, obviously the polished product that earned Em an Oscar and a few Grammys was a few editing sessions away, but the demo is still the work of a lyrical genius:

"You could leave the rest to me, if I could give the world / A hit of ecstasy to make 'em feel the feeling I'm feeling right this minute / 'Cause I feel like the night won't end til I'm finished / So lose the shades, makin' sure no light gets in it / The sky's the limit tonight because the night's infinite / A high percentage, of black people and white mixed in it / But know one really gives a fuck because they just like what's spinnin'."

Damn. Check it out for yourself!

The demo will close out the second disc of Em's upcoming compilation album, SHADYXV, due out on Nov. 24. The album will feature other Shady Records artists like Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse and 50 Cent. News also surfaced recently that the Shady Records crew will be dropping a 66-track mixtape sometime after the SHADYXV release.

"We figured since there's so many people that are gonna be saying, 'Ah, why didn't this song make it [on the album]? Why didn't that song make it?' We'll just do something to please everybody," label partner Paul Rosenberg said about the mixtape.
