There are few people as polarizing in the music industry as RiFF RAFF. Horst Christian Simco, better known as RiFF RAFF or Jody Highroller, has made a big career move and decided to switch his management team. Billboard reports that he is moving from his current management team to the new kids on the block — the Golden Hare Group. He will be joining Norwegian rising dance music Kygo and Australian DJ/producer Thomas Jack on the roster headed by Myles Shear.

Shear has always had an interest in what RiFF RAFF was doing, but that only manifested itself into something greater recently. He explains, "My first impression of RiFF RAFF was probably similar to most, but when we really got some time to spend together, I really got to understand his vision and how wonderful of a job he has done maintaining his brand," Shear notes. "He already is a dance act, and he could really do anything. That's how creative he is."

RiFF RAFF explained his reason for joining a small management group that focuses on EDM, when he is considered to belong more to the hip hop space.

"I meet these young crazy motivated dudes on the Mad Decent Boat Party, and they seemed to have more of a worldwide approach to music, rather than a USA target market," he said. "I want to be the EDM Justin Bieber. I'm Jody Bieber and humans aren't gonna understand that until I have 15 super hot neon models with the loudest and craziest EDM trap neon rap set on the planet, playing in Dubai or at the Taj Mahal. But I'm still growing and learning, and I will never plateau. I think everyone sees that, so I can't wait to join the WWE and be in movies as well."

RiFF RAFF has had previous forays into the dance world. He is part of Diplo's Mad Decent label family and he released his second album, Neon Icon, through the label as well. He has toured with Diplo and was just performing on the Mad Decent Boat Party over the weekend (where this deal went down).
