Since the premiere of the disastrous Aaliyah biopic, it's safe to say that the folks at Lifetime should tread lightly when reenacting the lives of beloved R&B stars. Former En Vogue singer Dawn Robinson threatened to sue the network over a film starring the group. She worries the film will be a "train wreck."

According to TheGrio, Robinson has made threats to sue if the network broadcasts An En Vogue Christmas, which is set to air this weekend. In the film, a local family convinces the group to save a local concert house.

Although Robinson will not be featured in the film, her replacement, Rhonda Barrett, who joined in 2003, will appear alongside original members Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron. Robinson left En Vogue back in 1997.

Another original member, Maxine Jones, will also not be featured in the film.

"I have no interest in watching it," Robinson said. "It looks horrible. I'm sad for them. After seeing the Aaliyah biopic, I'm extremely worried that this is going to be a train wreck."

As TMZ notes, Robinson will have a hard time stopping the movie as she reliquished her En Vogue rights when she left the group.

Hopefully, the film will be received better than the recently aired Aaliyah biopic. Lifetime came under fire for the actors' lack of resemblance to the original stars and unconvincing acting.

Producer Timbaland, who was portrayed in the biopic, called the film "bulls--t" via social media.

"A lot of people keep asking me if I'm watching that bullsh*t. Evidently not," he said. "No way. Not Timbo. People, thanks for the comments tonight on that bullsh*t Aaliyah movie. They have felt Timbo's wrath tonight, baby, and that's it."

An En Vogue Christmas is set to premiere Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m.
