Lil Wayne was gearing up for his experimental rock/rap effort, Rebirth, in 2009 when T-Boz reportedly joined him for a track. Pieces of the song, which have the former TLC member singing parts from Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell," surfaced in 2012, Vibe notes, and now the full version is available to stream.

The track, also titled "Rebel Yell," was intended for a T-Boz solo album that was never released, a Lil Wayne fansite notes. Weezy opens the track with his Auto-Tune drawl rapping over pulsing guitars. T-Boz joins in with lyrics from Idol's 1984 hit, giving them a steamy R&B makeover. The track will definitely get Wayne fans stoked about his upcoming album, but it will also make you want more T-Boz. Check it out for yourself!

T-Boz has been out of the recording limelight for a while now, guesting on tracks occasionally. Most recently, in 2012, she was featured on Little Mix's "Red Planet."

Over the summer, T-Boz announced that she would be putting together a girl group. "I think the industry is missing real superstars," she said. "Beyoncé has staying power, and there are certain ones that stand out and are truly superstars. Being a celebrity these days and being popular isn't the same thing as being like Michael Jackson, Madonna or Janet Jackson. What I'm looking for is true raw talent."

TLC came to an end after Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died in a car accident in 2002. The group's fourth and final album, 3D, came out that year. Numerous compilation albums have followed.

Weezy's Tha Carter V was scheduled to come out in October, but that date got pushed back to December because, as the rapper put it, he's been skateboarding too much and forgot. The album will be released in two parts with the first dropping Dec. 9.
