Eminem has reached a new high in his career. No, it's not another multi-platinum album or No. 1 single... it's an honor of a different sort. Today (Nov. 24), it was announced that the "Guts Over Fear" rapper has gotten his own celebrity ice cream flavor. And, no, it doesn't include any M&Ms (unfortunately).

According to Grubstreet, Mikey Likes It Ice Cream, a New York City ice creamery, released a new flavor in honor of Eminem's new compilation album SHADY XV.

Carrying the name of the album that inspired it, the SHADY XV ice cream flavor pays homage to Eminem's beloved Detroit and his home state of Michigan. Keeping flavors local to his origins, the new ice cream flavor includes signature Michigan products such as tart cherries, Vernon ginger ale and Sanders hot fudge.

The ice cream is being released as a part of a limited engagement at Mikey Likes It, which is based in NYC's East Village. The flavor, which is being dished out today until 8 p.m., will be accompanied by a meet and greet with Shady Records member Slaughterhouse, and copies of the SHADY XV album will be available for purchase, according to EV Grieve. Slaughterhouse is also features on the new compilation record.

Eminem is, of course, not the first musician to inspire an ice cream flavor. Ben & Jerry's is famous for naming its flavors after prominent musicians, with Phish, The Grateful Dead and John Lennon inspiring popular flavors.

Eminem isn't even the only musician to get a limited food product named after him this year. The Black Keys also inspired a bit of grub at Umami Burger earlier this year.
